ROBOTIC ASSEMBLY LINE
We present a robotic assembly line designed for the fully automated assembly of three product variants. The foundation of the line is a pallet conveyor system that transports pallets between individual assembly and process stations. The entire assembly process takes place directly on the pallets, from component loading to final inspection. The line is equipped with nine Fanuc industrial robots that perform component handling and individual assembly operations.
The system also incorporates advanced machine vision systems that continuously verify assembly correctness, component presence, and precise component positioning throughout the production process.
An integral part of the workstation is the End-of-Line (EOL) testing station, where each finished product undergoes final inspection using a 3D scanner. The scanner verifies the geometry, dimensional accuracy, and completeness of the assembled product. After successfully passing all inspections, each product is laser-marked with a unique DMC (Data Matrix Code), ensuring unambiguous product identification, full traceability, and linkage to manufacturing data within the quality management system.
The combination of robotic assembly, machine vision, 3D inspection, and laser marking creates a highly automated manufacturing solution that delivers high productivity, consistent product quality, and complete traceability of every manufactured part.
