BIN PICKING
Robotic picking of loose parts from pallets, transport boxes, KLT boxes or other transport boxes is one of the essential tasks associated with production automation.
BIN PICKING OF CASTINGS FROM GITTERBOXES
A fully automated bin picking station for removing aluminum castings from "gitterboxes" represents an advanced level of production robotization. The device reliably selects the castings of the entire gitterbox and places them in a pallet on the conveyor. The device works with ten different types of castings. In addition to removing parts from "comfortable" positions, the robot removes parts that are tilted, near walls or under the edge of a gitterbox. Last but not least, the robot removes the paper and continues to select.
ROBOTIC PICKING OF PART FROM KLT BOXES
Using camera-guided six-axis robots, the workplace is able to pick and place the bulk parts from KLT boxes, ensure their transfer under the laser heads and then place the parts back into the KLT boxes in a defined manner.
BIN PICKING
The removal of non-oriented parts by a robot in 3D space, also known as the Bin Picking application, is becoming a highly sought-after solution for customers across all technology industries. In our sample application, we use a 6-axis Stäubli TX60 robot, which communicates with a 3D scanner from Photoneo Phoxi 3D Scanner M. The M-series 3D scanner can scan a volume of 690x515x600 mm and search for 3D models of parts with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. The 3D scanner is also able to control collisions with the surrounding workplace equipment and plan the trajectories of a robot so there is no collision.
