Universal robotic cell for loading / unloading products into production machines
The basic function of the robotic cell is to be able to automatically remove / load parts that are inserted into the machine in a mobile rack. In the individual shelves, there are boxes in which the parts are stored in plastic blisters, which are used for a wide portfolio of different shaped parts.
The basic function therefore lies in the ability to load and unload parts into the customer's production machines or processes.
The device was designed with a minimum of mechanical and moving parts. All necessary movements are provided by the 6-axis Staubli robot using a set of interchangeable grippers and a 3D area scanner, which provides information on the position of the part to be removed in 3D space.
The device is connected to the customer's MES.
