# CNC MACHINES TENDING

Robotized operation of CNC machines is usually focused on loading and unloading parts into injection molding machines, machining centers, hydraulic or pneumatic presses.

Robots equipped with machine vision allow not only to **place parts precisely**, but also to perform other valuable functions such as part inspection, part sorting, measurement or packaging.







































## AUTOMATED WORKPLACE FOR LOADING AND REMOVING PARTS FROM AND TO CNC MACHINES

The advanced robotic workplace makes it possible to transport KLT boxes filled with semi-finished products to CNC machines and, with the help of a pair of robots, to **precisely load these semi-finished products into machines** so that production operations can take place on the parts. The robots then ensure the **removal of parts from CNC machines** and their re-insertion into KLT boxes.

The 4-axis Scara (Staubli) robot is equipped with machine vision technology (Cognex). The camera determines the exact position of the part in the blister, the orientation and also recognizes individual types of products (6 types).



















## ROBOTIZED LOADING OF PARTS INTO PRESSES - PALLETIZING AND DEPALLETIZING

The task of the robotic workplace is to gradually remove metal disks **from the stacks on the input pallet and to load them gradually into both presses and to place the machined ones in the stacks on the output pallet**. The operator only loads and unloads the input and output pallets. After switching on the automatic cycle, the device works independently **without an operator**. ## INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE TENDING - PREPARATION AND OPTICAL INSPECTION OF PARTS

In order to press a **larger number of parts** (18 pieces), it was necessary to equip the existing injection molding with a preparation workplace. Due to the **requirement to carry out quality control** of these parts, a preparatory robotic workplace was designed. The **Staubli robot** ensures the transfer of parts from the vibrating feeders to the forming matrix and also enables **camera inspection** of these parts.
